Pastels and watercolour

Today I've tried drawing with pastels (this had been my dream for a week or so, since I watched a few videos and fell in love with them, pastels, I mean). Mine don't blend as well as I expected (or maybe I don't have proper skills), but it's ok, it still looks nice. It should, when I finish at least a half of the picture. I probably need to change my style of drawing a bit, as now it takes so damn long x)

I've also watched a few videos of watercolor painting and it does look very beautiful, but I've always found it hard to handle, and requires painting more quickly than I do.

Eragon

Reading for the second time.
I learnt about it when my friend gave me the first book of the series as a gift. And I found it enthralling. Moreover, I'm amazed how young the author was and how detailed the story is. Some may find mistakes, or think that the Varden have a poor strategy or whatever, but in my opinion, it's insignificant. They also say Paolini borrowed some elements from other books. Well, in some sense, nothing that is written now is completely new. And I should say even if he borrowed something, he developed it a lot.
It's a shame that movie was so different and didn't become popular enough, so it's not likely that we'll see a sequel...
Looks like many people find certain characters annoying. They might be at times, but not that I hate them.
I saw Eragon being called Marty Stu somewhere, well, I wouldn't say he is. Yes, he did get everything kind of easy and didn't face many serious challenges. In my view, Nasuada, Murtagh, even Roran suffered more during the war. But Eragon's not at all perfect. I sort of like him, still my favourite character is probably Murtagh. Although, I don't think I have any favourites here.

Kingdom Hearts

I'd love to dedicate the next post to my new favorite video game - Kingdom Hearts (only the first one yet).
It hadn't become a game of my childhood, due to the fact that I didn't have PS2 back then, and even if I had, I doubt I could find this game in local stores or that it was translated into my language. And it seems to me, as a child I didn't have enough skills, so I'd be stuck on parasite cage or earlier... that one gave me a hard time, as well as Riku-Ansem. Now the latter seems more difficult to defeat, even though it took less time, probably because I had become good at this game.
Last week or two I've spent trying to defeat secret bosses and (having realized it's impossible for me yet) training to level up the party by competing at the Coliseum. I'll come back to it after I finish the game, which I decided to do today. I want to see what'll happen next.

Update 23.10.15
I did finish the game a few days ago. I don't at all regret training before the final battle (or, rather, several in a row), as even though it seemed easy at first, I nearly lost one or two times. I guess only the thought "No, I don't want to fight all Ansem's forms again!" helped me last.
There were quite many cutscenes at the end, so I didn't understand which exactly was the bonus (when you've sealed all the worlds and collected the Dalmatians), but I liked it all. Even credits were fun to watch. I find it an amazing game, especially for its time.
I managed to defeat one secret boss, but there's something else to do and see before I get to the Chain of Memories.

24.11.15
Yes, I'm still playing Kingdom Hearts I xD
I've decided to start a new game, no, not a completely new game, but only to try some things on the Destiny Islands. Just you wait, Riku! I'm not that clumsy KH beginner anymore :D

02.12.15
I've beaten Riku (avenged xD), but I gave up on the race. I jumped perfectly, what I had rarely managed before, but he's still one second ahead of me. 1 to 1 is ok.
Also fought everyone else and three-on-one. But now it's time to get back to my routine at the Coliseum.
By now I've defeated all bosses but one. I thought I was obsessed with the idea to defeat Sephiroth, but I might start the next game earlier, because his attacks are terrible, even for 83 level -_-
When I only started, it was like one YouTube commenter said, "see your confidence melt before your eyes".

09.01.16
I can't believe it, I did it! xD Level 90, even without the Ultima Weapon (it'd take ages to collect all the needed Bright Crystals). O frabjous day! But I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't seen someone use Strike Raid.

Introduction

Hello everyone. If anyone ever gets to see this blog... so, I decided that I need a sort of a diary where I could write about interesting stuff I like, do, or make (as I'm quite a creative and versatile person), and maybe some people would get interested, too.
English is not my first language, by the way, but I thought it would be nice practice, and concerning the fact that I use it a lot and that I'm probably going to be known more in the English part of the Internet, it would be more convenient to have a blog in English.
